Tattoo After-Care

Remove sterile dressing after 3-4 hours. Thoroughly wash the Tattoo with cold soapy water, rinse and pat dry with a clean
towel.

Lightly wash Tattoo once daily with soapy water. (Do NOT soak the Tattoo, as this will soften the scab).

After 1-2 days, a light scab will form. This is a protective barrier against infections. Do NOT pick and scratch at the scab.

After about 5-7 days the scab will start to peel. This may be a little itchy. At this stage a moisturiser will do no harm and
may sooth the itching. Only a small amount is necessary.

After 10-14 days your Tattoo should be fully healed. (Some dryness can be expected for a further 2 weeks).

Keep your new Tattoo out of the sun for the first 3 months or apply 100% UV sun block. This will preserve the colours of your
new Tattoo.

Above all, keep your Tattoo clean and dry throughout the healing process.

ENJOY YOUR INK!

Piercing After-Care

Clean your Piercing twice daily with our special AFTER-CARE CLEANING SOLUTION (Available over the counter) or use a
salt-water solution: mix 2-3 teaspoons of salt to a cup of warm water.

After a few days the Piercing will start to weep, this will dry hard on the jewellry and this is what you will be cleaning off.
Hold the jewellery to stop it moving and clean with either cotton buds or cotton wool dipped in the solution and then clean off all
the dry matter, when this has gone, dry your Piercing and leave it alone.

Infections can develop easily on a new Piercing since its an open skin wound, so be sure to keep dirty fingers and tight or
dirty clothes away from any new Piercing. Avoid excessive tugging and pulling on your new Piercing, also keep hair away or
tied back till your Piercing is healed as hair holds dirt and oils.

For genital Piercing refrain from oral and sexual contacts until the area is well healed, due to fact that viruses, bacteria and
germs can be passed through an open wound.

REMEMBER ITS YOUR BODY AND AN INFECTION DOES HURT!

For nipple and navel Piercings, wear a cotton T-Shirt to bed, or cover it with a swab or non-stick gauze and tape on with
micropore tape using it around the edges.

For genital Piercing, clean cotton underwear should be worn during the healing period.

The Piercing should be, as far as possible kept dry except when cleaning. Do not keep the Piercing covered all the time, as air
needs to circulate around the Piercing. Plasters and similar dressings are discouraged. Hot tubs, swimming pools, chlorinated
water and seawater should if possible be avoided until your Piercing is healed. Recreational drugs, stress or lack of sleep
all affect the body's healing process, so take care of yourself.

After-care for oral Piercings, GRIN N WEAR IT mouthwash or Listerine should be used every time you eat, drink, smoke or
sleep or after any oral contact. Brush teeth 2-3 times a day. The after-care of your Piercing is of the UTMOST importance. If
you follow everything on this sheet you should not have any problems. If you do not keep to these procedures you run the
risk of Blood poisoning, localised and severe swelling and trauma to the site of the Piercing. So do take care of yourself
